Starter decks
Ember + Iron starter deck
Fast attackers backed by armour.
Ember + Iron puts fast attackers in front of armour. Ember brings Swift, Sparkstrike and Spark Rain, Iron brings Bulwark, Pierce and Spiked Wall. The plan is simple: get damage onto the board early, let Iron hold the lanes you are not attacking through, and finish with Pierce and the Cinderlord.
Every player owns one starter deck. The six starter decks can all be played against the computer at any time.

Game plan
- Open with Flintkit or Ashpaw and put a Hornshield next to it: the Ember Shardling attacks, the Iron one holds.
- Spiked Wall covers an empty lane, so your Ember Shardlings can keep attacking instead of defending.
- Evolve Gearhound into Siegeram when the opponent blocks with something small: Pierce carries the rest to the ward.
