Starter decks
Root + Iron starter deck
The toughest wall of Shardlings.
Root + Iron is the toughest wall of Shardlings in the game. Root heals and punishes with Thorns, Iron takes damage off every attack with Bulwark, and both have Shardlings with very high health. It wins slowly: hold the lanes, let the opponent break on Thorns and Bulwark, then attack with Pierce.
Every player owns one starter deck. The six starter decks can all be played against the computer at any time.

Game plan
- Do not rush. This deck gets stronger the longer the match lasts.
- Spiked Wall and Snare Roots cover lanes you cannot fill yet.
- Keep Siegeram and Anvilback for the moment the opponent has to block with something small: Pierce carries the rest to the ward.
