Shardmoon
The Girl Who Bound the Fog
Before there was a card game, there was a girl on an island at the edge of the map. The Girl Who Bound the Fog by Adrian-Arne Kolb tells the story of Isla Wren and the world of Shardmoon.

What the book is about
Isla Wren mends fog nets on Lantern Rock, the last island before the edge of the map. She owns one coat, no money and no bindstone. Then a small violet shard falls out of the sky, lands in her nets and cracks open in her hand. Out tumbles a greedy, nosy owl made of crystal. His name is Hush, because he never is. Wild bonds are not supposed to win, but the season has begun and the bridges are waiting.
