Shardmoon

A card game vs the computer, whenever you like

Not every evening is for ranked play. In Shardmoon you can play against the computer at any time: no waiting for an opponent, no pressure, and your wins still count.

A card game vs the computer, whenever you like

Any deck, at once

Choose Play Local in the menu, pick your deck and the deck of the computer, and the match starts at once. All six starter decks are available, and so are the decks you build yourself. That makes it a single player card game you can pick up for one match or for a whole evening.

Practise before you play ranked

Games against the computer count for quests, Silver and XP. Ranked play opens at level 8, so this is a good way to get there and to test a new deck before you take it online. The turn clock waits while you are away, so you can stop and come back.

How well the computer plays

The computer plays the same rules as you and plans its turns ahead. It plays well but not perfectly: it makes sensible trades, uses spells and traps and goes for your ward when it can. A card game against AI opponents like this is a fair test of a deck, but a real player will surprise you more often.

Online, not offline

Even against the computer, the match runs on the server, which keeps your collection and rewards safe. It feels like an offline style card game, but you need an internet connection.
