Shardmoon

A free collectible card game in your browser

A collectible card game lives from two things: the cards you find and the deck you build from them. Shardmoon is a free online CCG where both happen in your browser, against real players.

CCG or TCG?

A collectible card game (CCG) and a trading card game (TCG) mean almost the same: you collect cards, build your own deck from them and play against others. TCG puts the trading in the name. Shardmoon is both: a digital card game where you collect from packs and can trade cards with other players.

Collecting cards

The base set has 120 cards. A pack holds five cards and costs 100 Silver, which you earn from quests and wins. The shop shows the chance of every rarity and every single card before you open anything. Spare copies can be traded with other players (see card trading online) or ground into Moondust.

What costs money and what does not

Every card can be earned by playing. With real money you can buy Moonglass, from 4.99 € for 500. Moonglass buys packs, cosmetics such as card backs and boards, and Gold copies of cards. A Gold copy plays exactly like the normal card; only the look is different. You never have to pay to win a match.

Four classes, 120 cards

Ember attacks fast, Root heals and holds on, Mist plays tricks and traps, Iron brings armour, Guard and Pierce. A deck has 30 cards from at most two classes, and every player starts with a starter deck. Quick games are open from the start, ranked play from level 8.
