Shardmoon
A strategy card game that is easy to learn
Many card games scare new players off with long rules and huge card pools. Shardmoon starts small: four lanes, one goal, and a tutorial that walks you through your first match.

The whole game in five sentences
Each player starts with 25 life. Every turn you draw a card and get more energy. You play Shardlings onto four lanes, and at the end of your turn they attack the lane opposite. If the lane opposite is empty, the attack hits the opponent. The first player at 0 loses.
Learn without pressure
A card game for beginners should not punish you for your first mistakes. The tutorial explains placing, attacking, evolving and traps step by step. After that you can play against the computer as often as you like, with no timer pressure from another player and with rewards for winning.
Which deck to start with
Root + Iron forgives mistakes, because its Shardlings survive bad trades. Ember + Iron is the most direct: attack, attack, attack. Mist decks are for when you know the basics. The deck guides explain each starter deck.
Three tips for your first matches
- Fill empty lanes. An empty lane on your side lets the opponent hit you every turn.
- Evolve instead of playing something new: it is cheaper and the Shardling keeps its right to attack.
- Read the opponent’s cards by tapping them. The text says exactly what they do.
